Hello all. My name is Brian May and I am an application developer for “i” (AKA AS/400, iseries, system i, i5, etc.). I have been on the platform for 7 years now and thought it was time to create a place share tips, vent frustrations, and hopefully build relationships with other like minded individuals.
RPG is my language of choice, but php, .net languages, java, and c are within the scope of my posts. The applications I develop in my day job are not really that exciting, so I am branching out personally with this blog and my involvement in the “Young i Professionals” (YiPs).
I plan to work on some open source projects with the YiPs in the coming weeks and work on some solutions myself to offer free of charge to the community.
